Welcome to the ISDH CNA Training Program!<\/b><\/font><\/span><\/h2>

Indiana Nursing Academy Offers Hybrid CNA Classes, Approved by the Indiana State Department of Health! 
 
<\/b><\/i>Students can choose to complete the first 5 days online live (or onsite, in-person) as we study the textbook together.  (Phones are acceptable to access the online live class). 
The remaining 11 days are Mandatory onsite\/in-person for clinical training. Then complete the State Exam. Practice days are included in tuition leading up to the state exam. 
 
CNA Clinicals are Held at a Comprehensive Nursing Facility in Avon, IN.<\/b><\/u>

What is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)?<\/b><\/font>
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an Essential Member of the Medical Community, Working Directly with Patients and Nurses, Providing Both Basic and Complex Care. 
<\/font>CNAs will Assist Residents with Activities of Daily Living, such as Toileting, Bathing, Dressing, and Feeding, while Also Playing a Role in the Prevention of Pneumonia, Wounds, and Infections. 
As a CNA, you may also assist in the Process of Rehabilitation after Surgery, Illness, or Acute Events such as Major Trauma or Stroke.  <\/font>

\nOur Experienced Indiana Nurses will Provide In-Depth CNA Training to Help You Succeed as a Knowledgeable CNA while Remaining within the “CNA Scope of Practice”.

Tutoring and Practice Sessions for the State Exam are Included after graduating<\/u>.  No Additional Cost!<\/u>
